Format & Partition στους σκληρούς σας! (Windows XP & Vista )

Καταρχάς επειδή οι φωτογραφίες που αφορούν στην παραμετροποίηση των ρυθμίσεων στο BIOS έχουν παρθεί από BIOS της Phoenix να ξέρετε ότι τόσο αυτή εικόνα όσο και οι υπόλοιπες που αφορούν το γενικό installation μπορεί να διαφέρουν ελαφρώς.

Για να σας φύγει η περιέργεια τα screenshots τα τράβηξα από το VMware Workstation, σιγά μην έκανα 2 απανωτά formats για να σας δείξω την διαδικασία με screenshots :P

• Καταρχάς κάτι κοινό και για XP & Vista, αφού βάλετε το CD/DVD εγκατάστασης στο CD/DVD drive και εκκινήσετε τον υπολογιστή σας, πατήστε το πλήκτρο του BIOS (συνήθως del ή F2) αμέσως μόλις σας δοθεί η ευκαιρία πριν από το Booting του λειτουργικού σας.

Από εκεί αναλόγως με το Bios που έχετε θα πρέπει να κινηθείτε ανάλογα αλλά προς τον κοινό στόχο, δηλαδή την ρύθμιση της 1^ης κατά σειράν συσκευής booting.

Σε περίπτωση που έχετε διαφορετικό BIOS ψάξτε για Boot devices, Boot sequence, Boot from ή γενικά κάτι που να έχει σχέση με το Booting του υπολογιστή. Μόλις το αλλάξετε φυσικά κάντε save και μετά βγείτε.

Ας αρχίσουμε με το Format ή/και Partition των Windows XP:

Βάλτε το CD εγκατάστασης των Windows XP στο drive και μετά επανακτήστε τον υπολογιστή. Στη συνέχεια πριν το booting των Windows θα σας δοθεί περιθώριο 5 δευτερολέπτων κατόπιν εμφάνισης της οθόνης που γράφει “Press Any key to Boot From CD . . . . ) Όταν πατήσετε κάποιο κουμπί θα αρχίσει αυτόματα το φόρτωμα των απαραίτητων αρχείων για την εγκατάσταση.

Μετά από αυτό η εγκατάσταση θα ελέγξει την πιθανότητα ύπαρξης άλλου λειτουργικού και θα σας ενημερώσει προκειμένου να αποφύγετε βλάβη του.

Σε περίπτωση που δεν έχετε κάποιο άλλο λειτουργικό εγκατεστημένο ή ο σκληρός είναι καινούριος τότε θα φανεί η παρακάτω εικόνα:

Τώρα σε περίπτωση που δε θέλετε να χωρίσετε τον σκληρό σε partitions απλός πηδήξτε το επόμενο βήμα:

Με το C μπαίνετε στο μενού του partitioning όπου θα πρέπει να δώσετε το μέγεθος σε mbytes του χώρου που θα θέλατε να έχει το πρώτο partition σας.

Βάλτε τα mbytes που θέλετε και πατήστε enter για να δημιουργήσετε το partition

Στη συνέχεια διαλέξτε πιο από τα partitions που δημιουργήσατε θα θέλετε να περιέχει το λειτουργικό σας και συνεχίστε πατώντας το enter για να βρεθείτε στην επόμενη οθόνη:

Κατά προτίμηση διαλέξτε το NTFS quick για να τελειώσει με το format γρήγορα. Αν επιλέξετε FAT32 θα έχετε κάποιους περιορισμούς στο μέγεθος των αρχείων που θα μπορείτε να βάλετε (δεν γίνεται να ξεπερνάνε τα 4GB /αρχείο).

Μετά ακολουθεί η επόμενη οθόνη όπου γίνεται το format …

….Και μετά

Η εγκατάσταση των απαραίτητων αρχείων…

Και τέλος μετά την εγκατάσταση των αρχείων ο υπολογιστής θα παρακινήσει αλλά αυτή τη φορά δε πρέπει να πατήσετε κάποιο πλήκτρο για να αρχίσετε την εγκατάσταση ξανά. Θα συνεχίσει το installation από τα αρχεία που έχει ήδη εγκαταστήσει στον σκληρό χωρίς αυτό να σημαίνει όμως πως αργότερα δε θα χρειαστεί αρχεία από το CD οπότε μη το βγάλετε ακόμα από το Drive.

Μετά το σύντομο loading του logo των Windows XP θα βρεθείτε στην επόμενη οθόνη όπου τελειώνει η εγκατάσταση και μετά τοποθετείτε μόνοι σας το CD-Key όταν σας ζητηθεί.

Τώρα που ξεμπερδέψαμε με τα Windows XP ας ξεκινήσουμε την εγκατάσταση για το «Μαύρο πρόβατο» της Microsoft τα γνωστά σε όλους Windows Vista…

Αφού ρυθμίσετε το BIOS ώστε να bootάρει από CD/DVD, βάλτε το DVD εγκατάστασης στο drive σας και πατήστε κάποιο κουμπί όταν σας ζητηθεί για να μπείτε στην εγκατάσταση.

Μόλις πατήσετε κάτι θα εμφανιστεί η επόμενη οθόνη

Και αμέσως μετά την φόρτωση (που μπορεί να αργήσει 2-3 λεπτά ανάλογα με το hardware σας) θα δείτε την επόμενη οθόνη:

Τώρα, επιλέγοντας τις ρυθμίσεις που θέλετε και αφού πατήσετε το next θα βρεθείτε μπροστά στην επόμενη οθόνη…

Η οποία μάλλον δε χρειάζεται διευκρινίσεις…

Στην συνέχεια θα σας ζητηθεί το κλειδί προϊόντος σας το οποίο θα το βρείτε στην συσκευασία των windows vista( ναι αυτή την εφετζίδικη παράξενη πλαστική μάζα η οποία ούτε καν χωράει στο ράφι με τα υπόλοιπα DVD cases…)

Αλλά εδώ ανάλογα με την έκδοση που έχετε μπορείτε να επιλέξετε να μην εισάγετε τώρα το CD-Key αλλά να επιλέξετε την έκδοση του λειτουργικού από την επόμενη οθόνη (εφόσον δεν εισάγετε τον αριθμό κλειδί..)

Σε αυτή τη περίπτωση το κλειδί θα πρέπει να το εισάγετε εντός 15 ημερών από την ημερομηνία της εγκατάστασης , κάτι το οποίο είναι εν μέρει καλό για να δοκιμάσετε τα πλεονεκτήματα της Ultimate έκδοσης (της «φτηνής!» ) έναντι των άλλων (των «ακριβών») .

Μετά από τις 2 εκδοχές της εισαγωγής κλειδιού θα βρεθείτε σε αυτή την οθόνη:

όπου απλά αποδέχεστε τους όρους και συνεχίζετε την εγκατάσταση. Τώρα εφόσον φτάσατε μέχρι εδώ μέσω του booting θα σας δίνετε μόνο μία επιλογή, αυτή του καθαρού install

όπου και clickάρετε το Custom.

Εδώ σας δίνετε για πρώτη φορά η δυνατότητα να φορμάρετε τον σκληρό και να δημιουργήσετε partitions :

αν δε χρειάζεστε partitions απλά πατάτε επόμενο και συνεχίζετε την εγκατάσταση, ειδάλλως:

πατώντας στο νέο σας δίνετε η επιλογή ρύθμισης του μεγέθους του νέου διαχωρισμού του δίσκου σας, και αφού επιλέξετε το μέγεθος πατάτε apply (ενδέχεται να κάνει το πολύ 1 λεπτό να τελειώσει ανάλογα με το Hardware).

Μετά από αυτό clickάρετε στο next και επιτέλους η εγκατάσταση αρχίζει…

Medal Of Honor Allied Assault Plus Spearhead + Breakthrough Expansion Packs

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (MoHAA) is a first-person shooter (FPS) computer game developed by 2015, Inc. and created by Steven Spielberg[1]. It is the 3rd installment of the Medal of Honor series. The game, based on the Quake III Arena engine with modifications from Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K.², simulates infantry combat in the European and North African Theaters during World War II. Allied Assault is the first game in the Medal of Honor series to be released for Windows, and the only one to be ported to Linux.
In the game the player takes on the role of Lt. Mike Powell of the United States Army Rangers who works for the OSS. Single player missions include assaulting German bases in Algiers and Norway, storming Omaha Beach on D-Day, and rescuing comrades behind enemy lines in occupied France. The original game's Omaha Beach mission is often compared to Steven Spielberg's 1998 film Saving Private Ryan. This level was re-created in Medal of Honor: Frontline for consoles. Other elements in the game are also comparable to the film, like the "Sniper Town" level and the "Guarding of the Bridge" level where the final battle sequence of the movie is very similar in action and visuals to the game.
